Hello and welcome to our latest newsletter.

Leadership is very much on our agenda as it is - or should be - for many SME's. In this regard, the Principal and founder of Robert Chapman & Company, Robert Chapman has embarked on the SUSTAINABLE PROFITABLE GROWTH (SPG) programme with Cardiff University Business School in association with telos partners.

SPG is a strategic leadership programme that develops the individual and organisation's:

• Ability to face the challenge of growth
• Strategic decision making skills
• Ability to manage change confidently
• People management skills - motivation, coaching and team building
• Lateral thinking

SPG is about you 'doing better things' for your organisation as well as 'doing those things better'. The premise is that successful organisations have good leaders and good managers. The difference is subtle:

Good leaders 'do better things' while good mangers 'do those things better'.

The 18-month journey started in October 2003. We believe that the experiences gleaned will help us to improve our performance and growth, and will enhance the consultancy advice we give to our private and public sector clients.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce a recent success (see below). We have agreed terms to acquire (freehold) a new office in Llandaff, Cardiff.
