Llanhilleth Area Regeneration Scheme: working with BGCBC as WDA’s PM to achieve £9M investment in new school, business units, road infrastructure and relocation of sports pavilion
Former Dunlop Semtex Site: appointed by the WDA to deal with and manage the £5M Urban Investment Grant
Loseley Dairy Ice-cream: acquisition of 80,000 sq ft Industrial Building at Llantarnam Park, Cwmbran; subsequently leasing back the building to the occupier when the owner sold the business; retaining the land and subsequently selling it (2.5 acres) for a B1 office development.
Rockwool, Pencoed: a third production line (200,000 sq ft+) necessitated: appointing a consultancy to deliver an Environmental Impact Assessment; preparing a design statement and negotiating a section 106 agreement. As a consequence Rockwool’s main Board decided to make a £60M investment in Pencoed (rather than the south of France) with the creation of 110 jobs.
Brackla Plateau for Large Animal Hospital: acquiring land (a complex transaction) for a flagship Veterinary Animal Hospital – the best in Wales; appointing ‘procurement team’ and obtaining a Property Development Grant of approx. £250,000.
