Llanhilleth Area Regeneration Scheme
Robert Chapman & Company project managed this local authority promoted scheme and have had significant involvement in helping to achieve the wide-ranging objectives. The project has economic, social and environmental needs with a broad number of stakeholders.
The project has included:
Relocation of a primary school.
Creation of new road infrastructure for improved access.
Construction of new business units.
Rehabilitation of former Miners Institute to become a 'healthy living centre' for the community.
Creation of a new sports pavilion and members club.
The Lakeside Park , Brynmawr
The WDA committed to a significant Urban Investment Grant (UIG) of £6m aimed at revitalising and regenerating the former Dunlop Semtex site at Brynmawr.
Robert Chapman & Company were charged with monitoring and managing developer compliance with the detailed UIG documentation to ensure the principles of the agreement were adhered to.
Goatmill Road , Merthyr Tydfil
As part of an Urban Design team, Robert Chapman & Company has been involved in creating a framework for the investment and promotion of this 30 acre site. The site is of strategic importance within the Heads of the Valleys Partnership Programme.
