On Screen Productions is one of the top ten production companies in the UK specialising in 'new media', live events, exhibitions, broadcast and video production. The company had expanded substantially and had been looking for new premises for some time with no success.
On Screen's Alison King explains:

A start-up company with unique requirements
When Greg Provan and Dafydd Jones started up their audio-recording business, they had some very specialist requirements when it came to finding the right property.
“Cranc specialises in audio post production – that means providing dubbing and tracklaying for documentaries, commercials, promos and animation.” explains Greg Provan, one of the company’s founder directors. “We wanted recording studios and office space in Cardiff – a straight-forward brief as far as we were concerned, but it gave some landlords a real headache. They were concerned about the issue of noise, and wanted all sorts of drawings and structural surveys for the sound-proofing and so on. As a start-up company, this was getting complicated and was outside our experience, so we sought expert advice from Robert Chapman.”
