Variety is the Spice of Life 12th February 2010
12/02/2010

I attended the Cardiff Business Club meeting on Monday. Lord David Puttnam gave an excellent address with a particular focus on educational matters.

The Wales North America Business Chamber drinks reception was well attended on Tuesday evening with informal presentations from Byron Davies and Phil Wyman.

I had an interesting meeting with the Bank of England's Agent for Wales on Wednesday morning and attended the Waste Management and Climate Change Conference held in Cardiff on Thursday. During the lunch hour of that conference, I popped across to Assembly Square to listen to the Shadow Chancellor, George Osborne.

This morning I will be attending a meeting at Beechwood House in Newport: a period grade 2 listed building in a parkland setting where we have been instructed to market the offices. Perhaps a good base for the forthcoming Ryder Cup.
